How can I become a lyricist?

I love writing lyrics and poetry, but I know I definitely want to move
more in the direction of becoming an actual lyricist. I am from the UK
and would really like to know the best way to get into this industry
and start writing for real artists and bands, I can't play an
instrument or sing myself though
